Peachy Smoothie

Here's another quick and easy recipe this time it's a peachy smoothie that will quench your thirst and satisfy your sweet tooth.

I really wanted to bake with these peaches (i still might, in sha Allah) but i couldn't find a recipe yesterday afternoon that didn't involve what seemed like a hundred and 1 ingredients and several thousand steps, what happened pinterest? I must have been having a mood swing because baking challenges i usually rise to. #gbbobreadweek

This made up on the spot smoothie recipe sufficed even my 3 year old daughter approved and trust me she's fussy.

Psst...... it contains more than just peach nevertheless it's still peachy.

Peachy Smoothie

Skill Level: Easy Peasy
Serves: 1-2, Depends how much smoothie you want to consume.
Special Equipment Needed: Blender or stick blender
Make Time: 10 minutes max
Measurement: 1 UK Cup = 250ml

Ingredients

2 ice cubes
1/2 large ripe banana, peeled and broken into chunks
1 large ripe peach, peeled and de stoned then cut into chunks
1 tablespoon date paste or 1-2 pitted medjool dates
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup full fat dairy milk (or milk of choice)

Method

1. Place all the ingredients in blender in the order they are listed above.
2. Blend until smooth and serve chilled.

Tips: Always use ripe fruit when making smoothies and always put the ice as your first ingredient.

What a lovely way to enjoy the peaches that are currently in season! I have yet to find a super ripe and sweet peach :(

As-Salaamu Alaykum Henna, We don't get them for very long here in UK unless they are imported but nothing tastes better than a local ripe fruit!
in sha Allah you find a ripe sweet peach soon. :)
